Thermal-Mould™  Plastic Mold Tooling Inserts: Plate, Block, Bar, Rounds

Incorporating large blocks of beryllium copper, or other copper alloys, in the planning stages of plastic mold design is essential for achieving faster production cycles and the highest return on investment over the life of the mold.

Beryllium copper mold materials have hardness properties comparable to tool steels, but with superior thermal conductivity. Beryllium copper plate, block, bar and rounds -- upset forged and heat treated to multiple tempers for our Thermal-Mould™ product line's plastic mold tooling applications -- are available in a choice of strength, hardness and thermal conductivity levels.

CUSTOM DESIGNED SHAPES, VERY LARGE SIZES

Beryllium copper mold materials can be produced in a broad range of custom designed shapes and sizes, and we regularly forge very large blocks -- over 3,000 lbs. -- with quick turnaround and delivery worldwide. We also have a large inventory of shapes and sizes available for immediate delivery.

» All products undergo three dimensional ultrasonic inspection to ensure that there are no cracks or inclusions in the material.

This large beryllium copper block was manufactured for a European distributor:
